Virgo Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse 14.03.25

Writer: Blaise BradyBlaise Brady

Eclipse cycles for me always bring to mind the Tower card of the tarot, because it is in these periods that we often see a major shake up take place. This can of course feel scary and the energy in the build up to the eclipses can be felt extra viscerally even for those who aren’t usually so sensitive to energies.

This eclipse season for me feels like it has this added flavour to it that we haven’t seen in a while. It’s certainly no regular eclipse portal, and I get the feeling that a lot of us will see some beautiful things come to fruition as we move through this. What’s coming to my mind as I write this is that his Virgo moon is a time for harvest. If there are things you’ve been working on or preparing to put out into the world, some major clarity could come around this time and things in the external world could shift in a big way in your favour.

The first card that comes through in this reading is Solutions, and it feels really fitting because Virgo brings that earthly, grounding energy that really supports us in getting out of our heads and into our bodies, where we can access that potent inner wisdom to find clarity on anything that’s been causing us to feel stuck or confused.

Of course, eclipses bring fated experiences into our lives. I always say you can think of it like the great creator/ source/ Goddess reaching her hand into our lives and clearing out anything that is not perfect for us and helping us become re-aligned with our purpose and path. That’s why I always sense a tower moment, because often what needs to shift isn't clear in our awareness.

For this reason I also believe and trust that around eclipses we are called to surrender control more deeply than ever so that we can let the hand of the universal creator step in and support us. So this full moon is certainly a time to go inwards, be still and be open to insights and clarity that will come through. We have Venus in retrograde and Mercury joining her in retrograde right after the eclipse too, so even deeper stillness and slowing down is asked of us.

We also have temperance coming out with the 9 of swords so what I’m seeing is that you’ll be finding a path out of anywhere you’ve felt restricted but you have to be patient and trust the process rather than trying to rush ahead, otherwise you’ll just feel even more restricted because you’ll create resistance to the energy that is moving around you. Virgo can be prone to perfectionism so watch out for that under this moon, and just remind yourself that everything is happening perfectly in accordance with divine timing.

Pisces season has brought a lot to the surface emotionally and with the 2 of cups here I feel like there’s also some transformations that will occur within close relationships. Challenges that have been trying lately will finally find their healthy resolution and if you are in a relationship, you will likely come out the other side feeling even stronger together.

We have the wheel of fortune and the star which is just a beautiful energy and a strong confirmation that we are really being gifted something abundant here. It’s time to receive the blessings you’ve worked so hard for! This also feels like a message about authenticity and exposure. For some this could mean there’s opportunity that comes from greater visibility, for instance, online entrepreneurs having more people finding them online.

I just went to pull another oracle and the first card at the bottom of the deck of course is Rebirth (card 22 for my numerology lovers), and this couldn’t sum up the energy better. We are literally entering a new era, releasing the old ways and embodying a new approach that will play a part in setting stable foundations for us moving forward.

There’s such a strong divine feminine energy with this moon and eclipse, and it seems to really centre on the theme of balance. Virgo is that divine feminine energy but she is also about organisation, so really merging together the idea of flow and structure. The queen of cups and the star in this reading really encapsulate that and this need for deep trust in oneself. In fact the queen of cups arrived with the ace of cups and it just screams RECEIVE. This is what this is all about - allow yourself to receive the abundance that was always yours to hold.

If you want to learn more about how this full moon and lunar eclipse will impact you, you can book a private reading with me here:

I will also be holding our Live Moon circle inside the Wellness-essary App on Friday at 7pm GMT where we will explore the energies in greater depth and discuss rituals and how to work with the energy.
