Much of the astrological movements towards the end of May brought into focus our journey in terms of work and purpose. We might have been shown new paths to walk down, or had new ideas that we wanted to get off the ground that are starting to materialise. Either way, the focus has been on really getting into alignment with what we came here to do. Jupiter; the planet of expansion in the field of work and purpose, has nudged us along in the realms of security and stability since his move into Taurus; and now we feel Jupiter’s influence once again as Sagittarius’s ruling planet.
The full moon finds itself in Sagittarius on the 4th June, offering us a moment of clarity of direction that is well needed. New ideas have been bubbling, and with the move into Gemini season, many of us have been in our heads about how to actually get started, or how we can do all of the things we have set our minds to. Of course full moons always tend to shed a little light on what it is we actually need to be doing or what we need to focus on, and Sagittarius with his bow and arrow, guides us to steady our aim so that we can be confident in exactly where we are headed. Being of fire energy, Sagittarius is bold, courageous and self assured. Some qualities that we can tap into under this full moon to help us feel motivated and rooted in optimism as we move forward.
The numerology of this full moon is 8, which for me always represents our infinite power, as well as the never ending cycles of growth. The 8 is a continuous flow of energy- it has no real starting point and no end. It embodies the cyclical nature of what and who we are, and this is something to keep in mind under this full moon too. As much as we wish to do everything and may feel more ambitious than ever to achieve our goals, we must also find the balance of allowing. Too much force can cause us to miss out on the experience, and too much focus in one area can leave us neglecting others. The message here is that all will happen in divine timing, and for now we simply need to fix our gaze onto the target and shoot our arrow forward.
For some we might find that this clarity propels us forward and things begin to happen quickly, so it is important that we also take the time to ground regularly so that we are rooted in the experience. We must remember that we are in Gemini season, and this airy energy can have us walking around with our heads in the clouds at times.
The key is balance. We are being encouraged to think realistically and use logic in our planning, but also to be a little bold and try to expand beyond perceived limitations. We must trust whatever comes up under this illumination and know that even if it doesn’t quite make sense yet, it will soon. We are challenged to see where we are stifling our own creativity and to look at how we can express ourselves more freely.
